El Nido town itself is just a jumping-off point — the real destination is the string of lagoons, cliffs, and hidden beaches reached by boat. Tours are sold locally under a fixed, standardized naming system (Tour A, B, C, D), each covering a different set of lagoons and beaches, similar in pattern to Krabi's "4-Island Tour" but with its own local branding.
