The largest of the Ionian islands, with more landscape diversity than Lefkada and a less 'party' feel — Myrtos Beach (one of the most photographed beaches in Greece) and Melissani Cave's underground lake are the headline sights. Access is a longer ferry (from Patras/Killini) or a flight, not as simple as Lefkada's bridge.
