Monasteries built directly atop towering natural rock pillars — visually similar in category to other unique geological formations already documented elsewhere in this project (Curral das Freiras, the Chocolate Hills), but distinguished here by being an active religious site, not just a geological phenomenon. A must-see, typically 1-2 days.
